Effective leadership
Growth factor in a family business

The aim of this research was to identify the type of leadership exercised in a family business located in the city of San Juan del Rio, Queretaro, Mexico, and to analyze how it influences the company’s development and growth. To this end, the concepts of effective leadership and leadership in family businesses, as well as their fundamental characteristics, were reviewed in order to determine the causes associated with the company’s stagnation in recent years. The study took a quantitative approach: numerical data were collected and analyzed through 13 surveys administered in different areas via Google Forms. The findings suggest that effective leadership is a determining factor in the success of family businesses.
