This article analyzed how digital transformation affects the growth of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico. This research aimed to promote regional economic development through the implementation of technology in a sector that represents more than 70% of employment in Mexico. The analysis was related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 8 and SDG 9. The research used a mixed-method approach, surveying 100 MSMEs and processing the data through descriptive statistics. The findings indicated that 79% of companies with a website increased their sales. This validated the connection between digitalization and economic performance. Furthermore, 90% of companies use social media as their primary means of communication with customers.
