User research provides a framework for the people involved in the use of the systems to be developed to be known, ensuring favorable results in the production and dissemination processes of these. In this research, the process based on a user research methodology in the development of a technological platform for educational purposes is presented, implementing the concept of Personal Learning Environments within the community of the Faculty of Informatics of the Autonomous University of Queretaro, Mexico, analyzing the result of each phase implemented. Through a technical report, the results of said research are disclosed, showing the data synthesized in instrument formats provided by User Centered Design, thus seeking to provide a practical solution to user experience problems and human - machine interaction.
